I am trying to lose the pregnancy weight. I am trying to avoid foods that are high in fat and sugars. Is it true that eating too much fruit is not recommended as it contains too much sugars? How much is too much for a woman who is not nursing? What are the fruits that I have to avoid while trying to lose weight?

  1. No fruit is good!

just make sure to have a blanced diet though

  2. fruit has natural sugars and provides many nutrients and fiber for a small amount of calories, eat up!!!

  3. Fruit has natural sugars.  It's the artificial sugars you wanna stay away from.  You can have as many fruits and vegetables as you want!  Just try to eat them raw and don't put too much dressing or salt or anything on your veggies.

  4. Natural sugars take more energy to digest than refined sugars so, no, they are not bad for you. I swear by grapefruit though...It helps cut your appetite down seriously. Buy a bag of grapefruit, sit down, relax, watch a movie or something, and while you're relaxing peel the grapefruit into segments (so there is NONE of the white fibrous membrane on the fruit segments, like how those little mandarin segments in the sealed packs look)....then, when all of the grapefruit are peeled and in their tupperware containers,  cover them, stick them in the fridge, and anytime you feel hungry in between meals just munch on the grapefruit. ^_^ Good luck!
