  1. Yes, I think its wrong to kill animals for any reason. Its wrong to treat them in any manner that is inhumane.

  2. if we dont eat meat, who will then??

over population of cows and pigs an dsheeps and chickens and blah blah blah....

  3. It is hard to deal with on an emotional level, but on a practical level down on the farm we never named our pigs because we would be eating Charlie come hog butchering time.

  4. I think its EXTREMELY wrong!

In fact, when I found out about how they treat the animals, I cried, and then threw up.

    Its truely a sick worldd!

  5. It's not wrong necessarily, but I choose not to support the meat industry because I think it is cruel.

Go veg if you're feeling this way. goveg.com

  6. Why should it be wrong for us to eat meat when eating meat happens  naturally in nature? ex. lion eating zebra. What excludes us from eating meat? I see nothing wrong with it.

  7. Its not wrong, meat is good.

  8. people who eat animals and then say they love them are hypocrites

    I am a vegetarian

  9. You don't "love" animals, please don't use that word lightly

If you actually "loved" animals its highly unlikely you would pay to have them killed just so you can eat them.

Education should be your next Port of Call

Its always good to see the same old meaty cliches being dragged out by answers like Ben and BabyApples, its so predictable

  10. Eating less meat and more grains and vegetables ensures greater health and longevity. People whose diet is mainly meat are known to have a higher incidence of diseases and cancers. But fish should not pose serious harm, unless caught near industrialized regions.

  11. I can't eat commercial c**p anymore, not since seeing that movie Fast Food Nation. Now I get my meat from the local farmers where I know how the animals are treated and how the meat is prepared!

On a certain level, it's wrong. But on another level, it's not. We are an omnivorous species, which means we have a choice on what we want to eat. On the level that it's wrong, it's wrong because we don't know if we're buying meat that's safe or that the animals haven't been abused. On the level that's not, it isn't wrong because, in a way, we do hunt the meat. We have to work to get money to buy that meat. If we don't work, we can't get that meat unless someone gives it to us for free. Basically, animals probably have an easier time getting meat than we do. Look at it this way. People in Africa have probably never eaten roast beef or steak.

But I see what you're saying. The way they killed the cow on Fast Food Nation made me sick to my stomach. I just don't understand why that movie didn't spark controversy. I mean, only bestselling books are turned into movies, so it's definitely known.
