Eating melted plastic- bad for you?

What are the health effects of eating melted plastic?

(I mean melted plastic wrappings of candy bars or melted plastic food paltes)

WHAT DAMAGE WOULD IT CAUSE INSIDE THE BODY?

Well, obviously it would not be good for you.  It could bind to your intestinal tract and create blockages once it re-hardens.  In other words, doing something that stupid has the potential to kill you.  I hope this is just a hypothetical situation.
