  1. usually fast food is under 7 dollars canadian, a normal restaurant meals are usually around the 12-15 dollar mark

  2. Find the name of the hotel/motel/place you will be staying at. On the web type in www.canada.ca (you may not need the www)

Find a business. you can search by name of business and get the name address and phone. It would be best for Toronto if you have more details of the location because Toronto is a very large City.

Next you click the location you are staying - click the icon that says "what's close by" . This will bring up another page of options. Under food and beverages you can select restaurants. If you select this option - the next page will give you an option to click the restaurant name and get more details - but it will also tell you the address and phone and approx how far away you will be. But more important - some restaurants now post their menus on line........ sorry for such a long speel - hope it was worth it- because you can sure do a lot of research before you even get here....

  3. you can have breakfast for around $3-5, lunch, count on $7-10, dinner $12-(infinity), depending on what level of dining. Some good cheap options: most Greek restaurants, diners, pizza places, mall food courts, sub shops

  4. Eating out is good. Eating out is very good.

  5. michelles baguette in Yorkdale mall.

  6. I have been to Canada and the food there are not as cheap. About 7-18.

  7. You can grab fast food for $5 - $10 Canadian (McDonald's, Quizno's Mr Sub)

Casual food $15-$25 for Dinner $10-$20 for lunch

    Fancy $20+

  8. Ok, fast foods: General combo (burg, fries, coke) with tax 6.50, slice of pizza and pop, 4$, salad and drink 3.50, double burger with cheese and bacon, onion rings, large coke, 9$ (CDN dollars)

Restaurant ... Chains, i.e. golden griddle, 15$/person - breakfast or all day buffet, Steak Houses: (starter, steak, drink and side)  25$/ person, seafood (one sea creature, side, salad, and drink), 20$ / person - add a turf combo for $8 .. chicken:  8$/ person (swiss chalet, 1/4 chicken, fries, drink, roll), kentucky fried chicken, bucket $20 (but works out to 25$ cause KFC has a special hidden tax), buffets:  (chinese, other): usually around 15$, cheaper for brunch...  SO:  three meals a day, say 1 nice one, 2 fast foods, count on around 45$ / person / day (excluding 15% tip in restaurants)

then add 100000000% sales tax from the canadian government.

  9. Fast food is about 6 to 10 dollars a person.

A casual restaurant is about 10-12 dollars an entree.

A nicer high-end restaurant is about 18-40 bucks an entree.

(And then there are obviously gradations in between the categories)

  10. fast food can range between 7-12 dollars..a higher end fast food chain will cost a bit more, something like Licks (by the way it has the best burgers ever!) and restuarant dishes are about at the 15 dollar mark, again the nicer the restuarant the more expensive. If you in downtown a really nice cheap restuarant is called East, its right infront of the cityTV much music building.

  11. Dont know your budget but you should try "The Keg"

    gooood steaks
