Just returned from fab weekend in Dublin, but eating out is SO expensive. Can anyone recommend a really good restaurant for an evening meal where the bill for 2 will come in at under 100 Euros?!

  1. i thought the food was pretty cheap

  2. If you want a really good restaurant you will pay for it. there are cheaper ones. Pacinos in Suffolk street, near the tourist office is reasonable. It does all food. service is quick enough . its comfortable and friendly but not 5 star. food is nice though.some of the restaurants in Temple bar should come in around the same price.

  3. eating out in the city centre is very expensive next time try some restaurants in the suburbs they can be very good and not as expensive

  4. We have just come back from a weekend in Dublin too and found most of the restaurants in Temple Bar pretty reasonable, maybe you could try out in the suburbs too as there are some lovely restaurants very reasonably priced meal wise and the food is good too.

  5. the best place to eat on the north side is the Hing Keng(I think?) on the coast road just before the esso garage it is an indian resturant lots of choice on the menu and on the south, tribeca in ranelagh Luas or 48A or 11 bus brilliant food and is not expensive

  6. If you like Tapas, the market bar off Georges street is an excellent choice. It is a bar but has a small restaurant but at the back. You should definitely try the place.

If you want a proper restaurant try the fire restaurant in the Mansion House http://www.mansionhouse.ie/.

  7. If you go on to www.visitdublin.com they have an eating out option. All the restaurants in Dublin are listed on there, and your price range. Good luck!!
