I am a big fan of pub grub. I figured out the best pub food is usually found in the pub that is closest to a church. Food in London is extremely expensive compared to food in the countryside. You really should not miss the pub experience or even the experience of buying and eating curries or fish and chips available on the street. Indian restaurants abound throughout London and are generally good deals. The best London has to offer in the way of food is the English breakfast.
