Eating out mother's day?

Happy Mother's Day to all of you Mom's out there. Just a reminder from your friendly waitress. Remember that a lot of the waitresses that will be working tomorrow, (including me), are moms, and to leave a decent tip if the service is good. We don't get "time and a half", we get our tips.

Tomorrow is one of the busiest days of the year for us. We will deal with more children than normal, and stress in most restaurants will be high. Please keep an eye on the children. Bring a coloring book/crayons or a favorite toy to keep your children entertained. It could be a good day for all!

I hope everyone that does dine out, has a nice meal, especially the moms. If you can't afford to take mom out, then make her a homecooked meal. Remember mom is the only mom you will ever have. I lost my mom 10 years ago, and it still bothers me. She was a great mom, and I miss her dearly.

My sons are taking me out for dinner, and I can assure you, if the service is decent, I will overtip. And probably pay

  1. I lost my mom too.

  2. Well I'm going to take my mom to Olive Garden today, but last time I went the waitress was a total air head she didn't bring us garlic bread and we asked soooo many times! so never the less I only tipped her $2.00 and I still regret tipping  her that much. so to ALL the waitress make sure you take care of your costumers if you want descent tips!
