Eating problem........

I haven't eaten in three days and I've only been drinking water.

I'm not trying not to eat on purpose, it's just all the stress I'm under right now, and all the anxiety I have about certain things in my life at the moment.

Seriously every time I try to eat, I feel nauseous and then I don't want it anymore.

And if I take one bite of, say an apple, I instantly feel full and don't want it anymore.

Is there anything I can do because I feel REALLY sick right now and it's scaring me.

  1. the same thing is happening to my mom and me. My mom has already lost weight because of the anxiety she is also going through. Just try to either force yourself to eat better or go and see a doctor. I just haven't been eating till dinner. Even though I am hungry for some reason I am not eating. I feel sick also and I am afraid I am unconciously doing it. I have also lost weight. If it gets worse I am going to get help but I am not sure why I am doing it, I mean I don't like my body shape, but I don't think that would be it, I knwo I am not fat. Or maybe I want attention? Or maybe I am fine!!?? I just moved and I am scared because we still don't have a house, and then school and all this stuff. Just go to the doctor or talk to someone.

    then keep eating more and more as you go.

    and even if you feel full you should still eat because if you dont then you loose all of your nutrition, strenth, etc.

    and if that dont work.

    then you should go to the doctor.

    because the doctor could tell you what to do better then the people on here.

  3. Well as long as you're drinking water you'll be fine for up to 3-4 weeks, but if this is because of stress you really need to see a doctor. I ended up in the ER because I couldn't eat or drink for a couple of days due to a complication with getting my wisdom teeth out.

  4. drink something that would fill you up but still has a lot of nutriotional value. maybe something like fruit blends (smoothies).

    but if this continues you should go to a doctor and maybe see a therapist. try one the smoothie option and if it doesn't work go to the doctor asap.

  5. Have you tried drinking smoothies? That might help.

    I went through something similiar. But I couldn't eat for 2 days. Maybe take a visit to the doctor? You don't want to go through something very dangerous/serious.

  6. Remove the source of the stress, if you can. If it's more complicated than that, try to distance yourself from it as much as possible. If you can, try to make some time for yourself - even if it's only an hour or two. Use that time to do something that YOU want to do, like a hobby or maybe just sitting and enjoying your quiet time. It might help to write down your feelings - write a letter about how you feel, or what's going on in your life that is causing you so much stress, and then throw it away when you're done. It helps to get your thoughts out there - no, it doesn't make your problems go away, but you can let out all of your pent-up emotions and it can give you a clearer head to better handle your problems. You're probably feeling sick because you haven't eaten - do some stress-relieving techniques, and start out small - like crackers, and sprite; things that you would eat if you had the flu and your stomach wouldn't settle. Then work your way back up, when you're feeling better. Also, try taking some multivitamins, to keep the proper nutrients in your system. But more importantly, try to relax, and good luck.

  7. you should talk with a parent or dr.  meanwhile, try eat things that have a lot of nurtition like health bars that are fully loaded and Ensure... also make sure to pop a vitamin everyday as well!  

  8. eat something lite, ice cream or soup, a little bread, stuff that is liquid or melts is best, if it gets really bad, maybe tomorrow, go to the doctor and they can help you, drink plenty of water
