Eating while taking Ons 100% whey?

I've been drinking Ons 100% whey and i was just wondering how much i should be eating? Im trying to gain weight, and usually i eat a lot and work out, but now with this drink, it fills me up. Since its packed with protein, is it bad that i cut my eating down, or should i still try to eat a lot too? would eating less make me lose weight even though im taking in the protein and lifting heavy?

  1. It is recommended that you take in a gram of protein per lb of body weight if you are trying to build muscle.  if you weigh 200 lbs then you should be taking in 200 grams of protein.  

    Break this down so you are taking in 30-40 grams of protein at each meals which would make it 5-6 meals a day.  Space them out 3 hours or so.  This gives the body protein though out the day to repair and build muscle.

    If you are taking ON 100% whey then you can replace the protein source with it.  ON 100% whey, I believe, has around 26 grams of protein per scoop.  So just figure in how much protein you are taking from the whey and reduce your whole food sources.


  2. i eat meals a day

    i use ON pro complex 2 times each day

    do like a piece of chicken for a meal, some tuna for another

    eggs, etc, small amounts like 8 grams to 12

    for each meal

    important point jhust eat a little thru the whole day

    u WILL get bigger


  3. Eat like four whole food meals a day and two protein shakes
