  1. Assuming the EB starts west of the WB then 2/3rds of the full west bound start to east bound start distance east of the wast bound start point. (1/3rd or the east to west distance west of the eastbound start point), but hopefully on different tracks. So thus at the nearest double (or more) track to that point.


  2. I am assuming you mean eastbound and westbound trains and they are traveling TOWARDS each other and not away . . . ... .

    the front points of each train is what will meet, very very hard.

  3. They will meet at a closing speed of 150mph at a point some distance west of where they would have met if they had both been doing 60mph.

    Sorry but my brain is too fragile to do the maths to work out exactly where.

    I can tell you for certain there will be large amounts of wreckage.
