Ebay India is a complete fraud site?

Dont know who runs ebay india, but the people are only into cheating, I have experienced both as seller and buyer but have lost thousands INR and no compensation. They dont reply to emails and there is no phone to contact them,no regitered address where you can meet them. Did anybody else from ebay India have this type of experience, do write here.

Many pranksters on E-bay who try to fool /cheat new enrollers...Also ebay suspects genuine requests also as frauds at times. There is no landline contact nos to speak to, so you have to wait for their understanding.........some intentionally try to cause disrepute to your id....so even i agree that ebay needs to do a lot in this front. Most important, they should have a contact no & shud assign specific id for each area , so each person can be identified and all are not kept behind dark curtains/ veil.

I won a camera on 11th August from a seller with 92% rating. He enquired if any accessories are required and I agreed to pick up a 1GB Memory Card and extra batteries. Good pricing. The memory card does not work nor gets formatted, both battery sets of SONY have problems on Camelion 668 Fast charger. After 19 days of followup on phone, mails, SMS etc, I hv lodged a DISPUTE at eBay, He says these are bought offline and not online, so you have no ground at eBay. He has used truely bad language in reply to my POST at eBay, I am looking forward to how eBay treats such cases.
