First, let me make it clear that I am not stupid enough to buy it. But I was linked to http://cgi.ebay.com/BECOME-INVISIBLE-walk-UNSEEN-among-people-or-CROWDS_W0QQitemZ130192029157QQihZ003QQcategoryZ1467QQcmdZViewItem

by a friend, and I wonder how this seller has managed to get so many people to happily pay $26 and then leave him +ve feedback... any enlightenment out there?

  1. Maybe just kids nagging their parents to buy it.

  2. Most people don't want to admit that they did something stupid.  So they won't leave bad feedback.

  3. I guess it just further explains why it's called Fleabay.  I notice there were a lot of mutually withdrawn feedbacks.  And why, if something is legit, is so much "private?"

  4. I don't need one of these "invisible" things!! I 'm ALREADY invisible! I know this because I can give all kinds of advice to my family and no one hears me....so I MUST be INVISIBLE!! (at least that's what I tell them when they don't answer me!)

  5. While I do agree with eri that people may feel stupid for having bought into it, two things also come to mind. Those who practice witchcraft have a spell for invisibility, and many claim it works (though it could be mind over matter). The second thing that comes to me as a psychologist is naturally, psychology. The person putting out that ad on eBay uses good advertising techniques to draw people in. If we go with eri's theory, psychology would suggest that people don't like to feel foolish, so if they bought this and it didn't work, they still might leave postiive feedback to keep themselves from feeling so stupid. It might also be, again like in witchcraft, that if they believe it, then it is real. I guess you won't know until you buy it and try it! Note: I am not suggesting anyone buys it, so don't come crying to me if you do and it doesn't work.

  6. What they're selling is not an invisibility potion or spell.

What they're selling is astral projection and/or remote viewing!  After carefully reading their ad's, that's exactly what it is.

The CIA does have remote viewers on the payroll so that is how this advertisement can make that claim.

google the topics remote viewing and astral projection.

  7. I want it,

    what if it works ?

  8. it's a biggest piece of bull i've ever heard.

  9. A person whose market consists of stupid, gullible people will never go hungry.

  10. Well some people just like buying silly gimmics like those shows that advertise workout equipment that ''actually works''. There are just too many stupid people with too much money.
