  1. You use PayPal (most of the time) to pay with credit cards on ebay.

  2. You can very occasionally pay directly to seller  with credit card.

Usually you pay with PayPal and usually with credit card, but a few sellers you can only pay with a bank account'.

NOW ONLY buy form sellers with a high 99 or 100 rating.

Always pay with credit card and Paypal if you can.

Ask the seller a question..just to see their response if you are unsure.

Look at their feedback..to see how they handle problems...

    and good luck.

If you have a problem there are VERY strict time limits to file a complaint...though if you pay by credit card, that is longer.

AND you got VERY little protection.

Paypal collects money..they offer little protection.

If you win your PayPal case but the seller has no money..paypal does NOT reimburse you.

If you claim "not as described" YOU have to get an appraisal to attest in writing that it is a fake. (yeah I provided one to a friend).

I love Ebay..but there are risks.

    P.S.

Every now and then there are accounts that do not take PayPal and you have to send a money order. That is risky and a pain...

It is risky because you cannot do much if they say they never got the money.

Yeah you can link your WAMU or BOA account to PayPal. Oh yeah, Paypal will automatically pull from your Bank account..for each transaction you got to INSIST they take from credit card. They are sneaky and underhanded.

  3. Generally, credit and debit cards work with paypal, the preferred method of ebay payments.

  4. IT depends on the seller. The seller is the one that determines what credit card he can take - if he's using a thrid party merchant.

However, if he collects his payment through paypal, you can use any card you want - except for I think Diners Club.

You can use a credit card or debit card. You can even register with PayPal and add a bank account to pay with a check!

Bank of America or WaMu? I think you're confused.... they don't care who you get your card from....

Visa, MAsterCard, American Express or Discover - whether debit or credit.

But like I said, if the seller uses his own merchant, it will say on the bottom of his post if he takes credit cards and which ones, he may also take checks or money orders. But then you won'tget your item til he gets paid and your check clears.

    Good luck

  5. Sign up with paypal and enter any of the above said payment methods.  Many sellers only take paypal.  Free to the buyer by the way.

  6. Sign up for paypal.  It's free and you can then pay with credit card, debit card or electronic check from their website. Who issues the credit card (Bank of American, WaMu) doesn't matter as long as it has a Mastercard, Visa logo on it.

  7. It completely depends on the individual seller. There is no eBay-wide policy on credit cards. If you are interested in an item, and the listing doesn't go into specifics on credit card payments, you need to contact the seller for that info.

Many sellers only accept and prefer Paypal. When you sign up, you would specify your card there.
