Ok 'm thinking of selling my PS3 as theres nothing coming out i want for it.

How much would i have to pay in ebay and paypal fees say if it sold for £220?

  1. Depends how much you listed it for but you can take 8% as a good average.


  2. I cant give you an exact number, you can go on the website to figure that out, but roughly, your paypal fees will be about $20 and paypal will take like $30

  3. Paypal takes about 10% I think but ive only ever sold stuff for under £40, im not sure how it works with higher amounts of money

  4. You will have to pay eBay £40.87 in fees.

    Here's the full breakdown:

    £1.30 - Insertion fee if you put a starting/reserve price of £100+

    Final Value Fees:

    £1.57 - 5.25% of the initial £29.99

    £2.10 - 3.00% of the initial £30.00 - £99.99

    £2.50 - 2.50% of the initial £100.00 - £199.99

    £0.40 - 2.00% of the remaining £200 - £220

    £33 - 15% VAT

    These are the fees for a "Technology product" such as a PS3.
