Ebay/Paypal????

Question

im new to ebay and paypal, what is paypal?

i tried selling something but it says i need a paypal account is there anyway to avoid it, and not make an account???

please help thanks

If you want to sell on Ebay you must have a paypal account.

Ebay is an auction site where seller need to pay for listing his auction.

When a buyer bids successfully for the item, he need to pay the seller. The buyer can choice to pay the buyer by many ways, Paypal is one of this ways. A seller can specifically said that the buyer can only pay via Paypal during the item listing.

Paypal is a 3rd party payment gateway. Basically, it helps you to pay someone or receive money from someone that both have Paypal accounts. For party that receive the payment, you will need to pay some commission to Paypal.

You do not need to pay for application of Paypal, so it is free to join. However you will need a valid credit card. Actual process, refer to Paypal.com itself.

Certain countries cannot apply for Paypal. So check it out in the Paypal site for detail.

sell on ebay is not free,and if you accept payment via paypal is not free too.please check their online help.
