Ebay alternative?

I KNOW I saw on Good Morning America at least a month ago about this under 20 dude who started his own auction site. He lives in Pennsylvania. He started it because he was fed up with ebay's listing prices and was doing fairly well with it. He was starting off with all of the new users being grandfathered in with no listing fees for life. I could have sworn that the name SOUNDED like ebay, but wasn't. I have been googling and googling for a good 40 minutes and I can't find the story OR the site. HELP!

Sure would be cool to have answers that are not spam in the business section! :)

A lot of people I know have switched to using an Amazon store and auction.
