Question:

Ebay and Shipping.?

I want to start selling my mangas (japanese comic books) on Ebay. Except I don't know how to mail them. Do I just put them in a box and put a trillion stamps on it and charge them for the stamps?!

Or do I take the books to a post offfice and ask them how much it would be?

For example, say I wanted to sell 1-15 of a comic. Someone wants to know how much shipping will cost and where I can and can not ship. How do I answer?

Do I chase down a UPS car and throw it to them!?

Thank you.

  1. First find out at Post Office the prices range to send a book to different places. You choose what countries are allowed to bid on your item. After you find out the prices, you'll know how much to charge as shipping cost.

  2. Normally, when you sell things on ebay, they have a little shipping section, where you can put in the info about the package and it gives you an estimate of the cost. Like it asks, what is in the package, it's approximate weight... After they pay for the item, you print the label online and just tape it to a box with the items in it and put it in the outgoing mail. However, I haven't sold of ebay in a while. You could try talking to Live Chat to see if they can help you.

Another way is to just guess the cost of the shipping and charge the person that much. Then, you can get the boxes at the post office and mail them there, hoping that it's not over the amount they paid.
