Ebay buyer hasn't paid.?

On Saturday an item I was selling ended with a few bids. I got a winner and sent them out an invoice. I sent them out one again yesterday and still haven't heard anything. What should I do next? How long do I have to wait till I can claim they haven't paid? I know that it's too soon but I was just wondering. I've sold items before but this one isn't responding to any emails. I've sent 3.

  1. Sellers usually have a period in which they have to pay, or else it goes back up for bid. I would wait a week, so about Friday/Saturday. I they still haven't paid report them.

  2. well seeing as tomorrow will be 7 days i would try and contact ebay to let then know. and also give them a bad rating for non payment

if you belong to a chat forum on ebay warn other sellers not to trade with this person, thats all you can do and put the item up for auction again

  3. I think that sellers usually have a period in which the buyer needs to pay, or else it goes back up for bid. I would wait a week, so about Saturday! Hope he/she pays! (:

  4. You must wait 7 full days after the auction ended.  Then you can file an unpaid item dispute.  Then the buyer has 7 MORE full days to respond to the dispute.  If no response, then they receive a strike and you get the final value fees back, but you do NOT get the insertion fee back unless you relist the item and it sells the second time around.  OR you can also offer it to the second highest bidder.  Normally though I have noticed that after 14 days, the next highest bidder is no longer interseted or has gotten the item from someone else.  I know.  It is crazy and unfair to sellers - but don't even get me started!!

Ah yes and the real fun is... you can't leave a buyer negative feedback for ANY reason.

PS and did you know the final value fees are going to 15% on most categories starting Sept 16th??  LOL like I said don't get me started.  I am very angry at eBay today.
