Ebay car parts? Any good?

Question

Has anyone bought performance mods for their car off of ebay like Rims Turbo Strut bars stuff like that to save some money insead of getting everything name brand? Are some of the parts just as good? I am asking if some of the retailers on there who sell repliica parts like this ...

This kind of reminds me of an episode of pinks where this one guy had a camaro of all bargain parts destroyed a guy with name brand c**p on his car. I was like wow!

Depends. $200 is stupid for an intake since it's just a flipping pipe with a filter so I bought a cheap one on ebay and for about $50 including a spectre hose coupler from autozone since it wasn't designed for my car's intake which is exactly as big as the intake piping where the car it was for required a reducing coupler which came with it.

I've bought name brand KYB struts, going to buy name brand Eibach lowering springs, I bought my front strut tower bar on ebay but as it turns out it is Alfa Otto brand which isn't all that bad (but it's definitely not Stillen but who cares? it's a metal bar!) and etc.

I just buy name brand when it offers better reliability and performance. Anywhere else I keep it cheap to save my money for name brand stuff where it matters.

i have purchaced several performance parts from ebay for my honda , , do the reserch chech out an find the item on another web site , compare prices , look at feedback and asked selller question if they respond so the answer is yes with reserch

I would say that buying "name Brand" Parts off ebay is safe (assuming that your dealing with a reputable seller of course) I would stay away from the "no name" buy it Now Deals, as these parts are inferior knock offs that are made overseas.
