do i have to pay the ebay insertion fee first before getiing a item paid....i just started i have like 4 items posted up and i stiil havent paid ll the insrtion fee,,,,but i am after i sell....or do i have to do it now

  1. no you will receive a bill on the 15th of every month.

    If you want to view how much you owe to date do this:

    Click on     My eBay    at the top

    Then on the left side towards the bottom you will see   'Seller Account'

    Click on this and it will show balance due.


  2. They bill you monthly about the 15th.  They either charge your credit card, or take it out of your paypal or checking account, depending on how you set it up.

No, you don't have to pay the insertion fee first.  You will receive an invoice email from ebay around either the 1st or 15th of the month (depending on when you started your account).  On the invoice, it will have what you owe for insertion fees (for any items you have listed) and final value fees (for any of your items that have sold).  You can have it set up through Paypal to make automatic payments to pay your fees, or you can make a one-time payment.  You can always look to see what you owe by going under the "My Account" section on the left and clicking  "Seller Account".   Hope that helps.  Good luck and I hope your items SELL!!!  : )
