Ebay item is not the one pictured?

If you order an item on ebay and the item comes and is very similar to the item you ordered but definitely not the item pictured, what should you do?

Contact the seller, unless the seller says in their ad item may be different than the item pictured, they have to refund or exchange for the correct item.

First, make sure that the photo with the listing was supposed to be the actual item, and not just a stock photo.

Then e-mail the seller and see if they can explain, or offer to take the item back if you don't want it, or make an adjustment in price.

If that doesn't work, you can file a disupute with eBay and let them resolve it for you.

Send it back.  Most sellers will give a full refund.
