Ebay item shipping question?

hi i ordered something on ebay and i sent the money order out on january 14th. On january 23rd I got a message saying that they got the money order. a couple days passed and i sent her a message and on the 27th it said that she sent it.

i live in PA and the item is coming from Ohio. i checked my mail today and there was no item. she has a very high positive rating and im just wondering how long it takes. i know tomarrow is sunday and there won't be ne mail. How long does it generally take?

Hey there ...

My suggestion is that you check with your local mail service. You may find there is a reason that mail has been held up. Also did your seller send it with a tracking number? If there is one, again ask the postal service to trace it for you. On a final note, we send all our goods by registered mail and you wouldn't believe the number of times (per day!) that we receive emails asking where a customer's goods are ... we check with the postal service as our items are always sent by registered mail. 99% of the time, the goods are sitting at the post office waiting for the customer to come in and sign for the package. ... That might be the case here.
