Ebay item slow to arrive! Is it just me or is this normal?

Question

I buy & sell on Ebay often. I sell more than I buy. So I know the mail can be weird at times.

I won and item the end of July & the seller mailed is right away. When it didn't arrive today I contacted her just letting her know & asking for a tracking number.

She sent it to me and here is what USPS has to say about it:

Processed, August 02, 2008, 12:08 am, ATLANTA, GA 30369

Processed, July 31, 2008, 9:04 am, JACKSONVILLE, FL 32099

Electronic Shipping Info Received, July 30, 2008

Another thing I looked at said it LEFT Atlanta Aug. 2nd around 12am. I live about 2hrs away from Atlanta.

So is the normal for Parcel Mail to take this long? Aug. 2nd was 4 days ago. Shouldn't it be here by now?

Or am I just worried for nothing? My poor little boy is looking daily for this to arrive!

I have found mail times from Jax very slow for some reason. We have shipped to Erie PA a nember of times and it never takes less than 5 days (sometimes nearly 2 weeks!) to arrive.

It is always better to ship Priority. I use just that and it takes 2-3 days to get to my buyers. Nina

Don't worry it will get to your son.
