Question:

Ebay or Amazon?

I'm new to selling online, and I'm trying to sell some of my videogames online. I'm trying to figure out which place I should choose to sell them on. I heard that amazon doesn't charge for shipping, and when comparing games like "Mario Kart: Double Dash", Amazon users sell it used for $28.99, and on Ebay, it's mostly going for usually $15 used (by the end dates).

I'd naturally think amazon would be the choice, but I don't see any "bids" displayed anywhere on the items, nor any indication as to when the item "ends". Why is this? How would I get an idea as to how long it would take until my item ends?

Also, with Amazon, how does shipping work with them?

I've never really shipped anything before online to sell, so I'm a little clueless about the details...

  1. I think that ebay has a larger audience and therefore market share, Ebays fees are directly related to the success of the sale and value of the product. I sell on Ebay, it is highly competitive but with a good product at a fair price and a little time spent on each advertisement, there is money to be made.
