  1. I believe you MUST have a valid checking account, major credit card or a debit card. The numbers they are asking for, appear at the bottom of your bank account checks and have NOTHING to do with a check from an employer.

Your best bet is to get a checking account. You can probably find a local bank that offers this free. Ask for a debit card when you go in. It will serve as an ATM card and a card you can use with eBay and PayPal.

  2. No... don't use the numbers at the bottom of your work check. If you do that you'll be stealing money from your workplace.

If you don't have a check or credit card, most eBay sellers accept money orders. You can purchase money orders at your local post office, bank, and at most major grocery stores.

Though you must be sure to check the sellers payment options before bidding, to be sure that they do accept money orders.

  3. Hi - I'm not really sure what you're asking.  I do know that if you want to pay for something on ebay using PayPal, you have to first set up a PayPal account.  PayPal is the middleman the ebay buyer and seller through which the funds are requested and transferred.  You would need a checking account or credit card to set up the account.  If you have neither, you might want to contact the seller and see if they would consider accepting another form of payment (check or money order).  If they do, you'll have to wait until they receive payment (or wait until the check clears) before they will ship your merchandise.  I hope this helped you.
