hi,

i have recentley sold a couple of things of ebay. but the person who bought my item has not left feedback so it has not showed up that i sold anything. you no the number next to you name in (). i know that you dont have to leave feedback but than people never see that i sold that i tem right

send those that bought from you a message and remind them to leave you the feedback!! thats what you should be doing

They can look at your completed auctions and see what you've sold.

Feedback is totally voluntary, and some people consider it harassment on ebay to email someone asking for feedback.

No, the number is how many feedbacks you've gotten, not how many items you've sold.

I always send just ONE reminder email.  Any more than that, and people tend to get angry.

Here's the wording that has worked best for me, in getting people to leave feedback:

Thank you again for purchasing XXXX, that we shipped to you on, July XX, 2008.

We see that you received your item, and hope you are enjoying it!

We appreciate your business and the smooth transaction!

We have already left positive feedback on Ebay for you on this sale.

Please take the opportunity to leave feedback for us on eBay.

Your input is important to us, and helps build the ebay community.
