okay i sold an item and i put a 3 day mechandise credit return policy on item the buyer says that the part he bought is the wrong one..now its been 3 days...what can the seller do

note i put in retutn policy no refunds only mechandise creit...what can happen now please help??

  1. If he says it's the wrong part then don't ship it to him. You'll have to relist the part.  


  2. If he paid by Paypal you can say anything you want, but Paypal will refund his money with proof that he returned it to you.

    If you'd like to keep his business for future sales (and avoid a negative), don't give him a hard time on the return.

    3 days is unreasonably short, IMO.


  3. if ur policy is three days then if u don't want to be nice don't take it back but if u do want to be nice give a refund. unless u havent been paid then seek advice from ebay help i'm sure they have an email or even phone support
