Ebay question verry important please answer!!!!!!!!?

ok so i am trying to sell an item but it says i need to become verified....please do not send me the how to become verified link i know how but i dont see why i have to add a bank account to verify me and pay more money since i already have my credit card up there

It is just an added security feature to keep people from opening numerous accounts.  Back in the day, scam artists were able to simply open up 100's of accounts and scam a lot of people that way.  This is put in place to protect the buyers of eBay.

eBay is just trying to protect both the buyer and the seller from being ripped off.  as long as you are sure that you are on the actual website and are giving this information then you will be safe.  If this is going to be a one time deal for you perhaps you should just try to sell the item in the local newspaper instead.  Good luck.
