  1. The best thing to do is NOT to bid on any item until the last 2 minutes. By bidding before then you are just encouraging other bidders to raise the price of whatever it is you are trying to win. Also watch carefully for the last 5 minutes, as that is when most of the buyers will place a bid if they find the product appealing.

  2. They can only stop the auction before the final 24 hour mark.

  3. Sorry you can't do anything like that. Just bid high enough to win. Keep checking the auction, esp. the last 5 minutes, so if someone tries to 'snipe' it you can bid higher. Bid as high as you're prepared to pay.

  4. That isn't how it works. The winner is the one who has the highest bid at the end of the allotted time.

  5. lol.. No you can't do that.  If bids have been placed, then you wait until the end of the auction.  Plus, they want to make as MUCH on the item as possible - why would they stop the auction just because you want the item?

If you want to be sure you win an item, look for 'buy it now' and just get those - no bidding, you just pay for it.

EDIT:  NO... you can't ask them - what do you not understand about that?  They won't say yes.  Ebay has rules that the sellers must follow - they can't stop the auction.

EDIT2:  No - once it's in an auction, the auction has to finish.  Try a search for the item and see if there is one that has the 'buy it now' option.

  6. No you can`t you must wait until the auction is finished at its allocated time.  Some bidders come in at the last minute and bid, but you can put in a maximum amount that you wish to pay and the system will bid for you, if there is another bidder and you cannot be on a computer until the end.

  7. you can ask but they will probably tell you no.  Why would they do that they want to get as much money as possible out of their item.  Email them and ask them it cannot hurt. Email is free.

  8. Your not allowed to do that.

You should wait till the auction has finished, that way if you win you are properly protected by eBay in case anything goes wrong.

  9. yes you could contact the seller and ask if they had a set price that you could give them for a buy it now option.

  10. No because somebody may bid higher, and the seller will want as high as possible price. Many people wait untill last few mins to outbid.

  11. nope you gotta wait, keep checking the item, like refreshing the page to make sure if anyone outbids you, you will know and can bid higher

  12. Nope, can't do that...just keep watching and make sure you get what you want.

  13. AHA!!! Nope you cant do that.... if you want to make sure you get the item make your search with a buy it now option. You dont even have to bid you can just buy it from the beginning. It usually ends up being way cheaper too.
