  1. sorry  nothing you can do..she should of set a minimum

  2. you can report her, but its her bad she should have set a minimum if it was too low. thats rude...

  3. If the seller has a store or sells other stuff, then you might consider pressuring her through eBay to honor the auction. If you leave her negative feedback it will seriously hurt her efforts to sell other things. I understand that this will not solve your problem, but eBay does not have more power than that. She will end up paying the auction fee. If you follow up with eBay and file a claim, attach her response of asking more money, eBay will try to interfere, if they couldn't convince her of selling her laptop for the price of the auction, eBay will likely suspend her account. If she wanted a reserve price, she could include in the auction with a small fee. Under eBay's rules, she is obligated to send the item. However, we live in the real world. I strongly encourage you not to send money until eBay gets back to you. If she appears to be not trusty worth before even sending the item, then I won't trust her. She could send you the laptop with some removed stuff or whatever and you will end up in a hectic cycle between eBay and paypal. I hope this helps a little bit. Good luck in resolving your issue!

  4. more money for what. if auction ending says you won the item then that is the price you must pay for the item. that does not include shipping unless specified in the listing. but they can't ask for more money the item. all you can do is go through ebay. if you haven't paid anything and she doesn't have your money then it's probably best anyway. check her feedback, report her and move on.

  5. there is nothing you can do, repoert her to ebay as a non seller thats all you can do x*x

  6. As an avid Ebayer, I hate to see this type of thing.  This woman really should have put a "reserve" .  Unfortunately, because she is already not following Ebay's rules, she's probably not going to send her laptop to you.  The  good news is there has been no exchange of money.  I would file a complaint with Ebay reguarding this seller.  If she gets three strikes, they will permenantly close her account, which will be good news for everyone who uses Ebay.  She  sounds like someone who probably does this sort of thing...she probably is someone who also doesn't pay for items she bids on.  Which she can also get strikes for.

  7. ok, one possibly is to go half of how much more money she wants, but start with a quarter.

e.g. you buy for $200 she wants $300. say ok, ill give you $225 for it. if she says no, go for $250 dollars and have that be your final offer!

  8. Contact ebay immediately and let them know of the situation, forward copies of the emails, she has sent to you demanding more money, she is also trying to avoid paying higher feeds to ebay/

  9. I would turn her in for fraud since she posted it on eBay and you won contact your local law enforcement and see what they say or even an attorney .

  10. I see you received alot of answers, but it just comes down to you're just another fish in the ocean. If you didn' pay any money out, move on. E-bay states there is a contract between the buyer and seller for the winning bid amount, but you have seen how that works. There really isn't anything a person can do when it comes to problems such as yours, that I have read about. Right now I have a bid on a mower that I own the same model, but the seller starts it is 20 hp and the picture of it shows 18 hp just like mine, yet the person selling states the engine hasn't been changed. That's some of the types of people that get onto e-bay to sell their items.  BUYER BEWARE AT ALL TIMES.

  11. She can't ask for any more money unless it is for shipping the laptop to you. Shipping is on top of the winning bid price.

If shes demanding more money, or a rediculous amount for shipping contact ebay's complaint dept and tell them what's going on. I would advise against making any kind of payment until this is all settled. Worst case scenario she clips you with a non-paying bidder complaint... but since buyers no longer show their positive feedback % I wouldn't worry too much.
