Ebay sellers SHOULD be able to leave negative feedback

Question Details: In january ebay decided that sellers could no longer be able to leave negative or neutral feedback. Does anyone else disagree with this? The other week i sold a mobile on ebay and the "buyer" tried to scam me. Luckily i kno to look out for phishing and spoof emails and forwarded them to ebay/paypal who confirmed they were fakes. The worst part is i couldnt leave feedback to warn other sellers about this guy!! ebay make money from sellers - not buyers. Yet we have no protection!! What does everyone else think of this change??

  1. I agree. Ebay is not doing anyone a service by denying their paying customers the ability to warn others about nefarious buyers.

  2. I agree! If I buyer does you wrong, you definitely should be able to leave them negative feedback. We should start a petition! Why should the negative feedback only be about the sellers?

    It's a two way street.

  3. hate it

  4. Yes I don't like it either, I'm selling lots of things right now and I know I wont be able to leave bidders bad feedback if they don't pay me which is ridiculous.

On another note, this business of sellers being able to make the bidding on all their items anonymous is irritating too, how do we know they're not shill bidding?

  5. I totally agree eBay should allow sellers to leave negative feedback to buyers. Most of the time what happens to me is i would sell the item, the person pays with paypal, I ship the item, then the buyer opens a dispute with eBay saying that he didn't receive his item, paypal refunds his money and he gets his item for free and we have to leave positive feedback. The people at eBay must of been on something when they decided to make this happen. It makes me mad and I have decided to stop using eBay until they do something about it because your right ebay make the cash from us not the buyers and they should be listening to us.
