What should I use to S&H a t-shirt on Ebay?

I'm a first time seller, and I'd like make S&H cheap and easy.

What kind of envelopes should I use?

Would this be okay? Priority + flat rate?

Oh and Flat Rate or Priority Mail? Which is better for the customer and cheaper for me?

And whats the difference between flat rate and priority mail?

  1. Flat rate is everything you can fit in that envelope, regardless of weight its all the same price. However, that's not worth it for something light like a T-shirt. It costs about the same as priority, though.

I think it'd be a lot cheaper for you to use First Class because priority always costs a minimum of over $4, no matter how light it is. First Class would just take an extra day or 2 at almost half the cost.

I just entered it from California to New York so you can assume the cost would be that much anywhere else.

Check out this link if it's international. http://www.usps.com/tools/calculateposta...

A padded envelope is great for a T-Shirt. Boxes are much heavier and more expensive.

I just buy padded envelopes at any drug store. They even have sales sometimes where they're 50% off and I just stock up. It's so much cheaper than buying it from the post office.
