Ebay selling advice?

I put up my pink psp for auction with a buy it now price and it clearly says on the listing i post to uk only. Someone has bought it with an english account and in there request for payment details told me they would pay £40 for me to ship it to nigeria.and enclosed a different address. unfortunatly i did not see this small print until after i had sent the request for money. however i dont suppose it makes much of a difference as the user had already bought it. i realise to some extent this is my fault but i rarely sell anything, so im somewhat inexperienced. surely this person is breaking the rules anyway because anybody could steal anothers ebay account, buy lots of things and request the seller to send to thier address. am i going to get blamed for this? what should i do?

PLEASE DO NOT JUST POST A LINK TO EBAY HELP PAGE/RULES

  1. If you have not sent the actual item itself the forward the emails and everything to ebay. NEVER EVER sell to Nigeria! It is a scam as they will send you a fake paypal email saying the money is on its way. They will NOT pay you and you will end up loosing your item if you do ship it to them.

  2. Your first mistake was not checking who and where the person was from that bought it. It's a little mistake though, we've done it sometimes too. To answer your question,  it is not unusual for an international bidder willing to pay extra for shipping. Two things, you should specify in the ad who you will sell to, but accidents will happen. If it does, tell the bidder immediately that their bid will not be accepted, and hope someone outbids them. If they are the highest bidder, give them the option to pay the extra shipping fees, or just forget about the loss. Hopefully this person did not raise the bid past any additional fees.

  3. SCAM! report to ebay

  4. To me this sounds like a scam.  I mean did they pay you already?  Hopefully, because if not you are sending your PSP to some address on a "good faith" type of ordeal.  I would get the money up front, and then ship it out.

    Take care,
