what do you do if you ship an item and when the buyer receives it, it does not work like it did when it left the seller location?

and what does insurance do in this situation?

Insurance only covers damaged item, if the box was damaged then you could file a claim if the seller purchased insurance. That is the first step. 2nd step, is the seller, maybe they sent you a defective item and lied (sometimes this happens). You could file a credit card claim either through your own company or through paypal. Good Luck!
