Ebay shipping return question?

I won an outfit on ebay recently and I just realized today that the outfit was a size for a child and not for me. I contacted the seller and we came to an agreement that when I recieve the outfit that I will return it to him and get my money back. Now I've been on ebay awhile now and I've been satisified with every item that I won and I've never had to return anything before. My outfit will be sent through the U.S. Postal Service in a day or two from Brooklyn NY. And it is coming to where I am from in Pennsylvania. How do I go about sending it back? Do I just put on the appropriate postage and send it to the return address? What do I do?

  1. Ask one the Postal clerks, they should be able to help you. Good luck.

  2. You will have to print or type a new address label for the package. The USPS won't mail it to the return address unless it's placed over the address it was sent to. And yes, you will have to pay for postage too. Hope that helps!

  3. Yes, simply repost it and send it back.  Some sellers do have a time frame like 10 days or so to return an item with other conditions also.  Check with the seller.  I do not think you can just reject an item and have the post office send the item back anyways the post office keeps the item for weeks before they return the item to the seller because of no claim on the item or you refuse to take it.
