then didnt pay, claiming he bid by accident (twice!), tried to file a unpaid dispute against him but have to wait a week.

I have relisted the item but have now been told by ebay that unless i pay the sellers fees (£28) my account will be suspended.

well im thinking why should I pay the £28 when the item didnt actually sell. My bidding finishes in a few hours, shall i leave my item on there or take it off in case they suspend my account..any advice thanks :)

  1. Stop dealing with E-Bay.  We use to sell a lot of stuff on e-bay until all there rules changed.

If I were you, take your losses and move on.   E-Bay is just not worth it anymore.

    Sorry

  2. Pay it and you'll get it back when the unpaid dispute is over

  3. email ebay and explain to them, but you are meant to pay once you listed an item . . and if they suspended you your going to have to pay it anyway to get your account back . .  i knI'm im suspended till next year lol

  4. take it off then sell it some other time, in a week or more.

  5. pay it and you should have it back once the dispute is over

  6. I'd take it off babe the item that is lol.

  7. Best to do as they ask, or they will suspend your account even if its not your fault! Not very fair is it?

  8. You will be best to pay your account with e-bay - at least then if your item has bids on it it can sell today and you can finish the transaction- once the dispute has gone through - if it is found in your favour Ebay will refund any commissions etc to you and sometimes they will even refund the money for re-listing the item due to the non-payer!

    Hope it all works out

  9. I'd Take It Off, And Delete Your Account Yourself And Just Make A New One To Sell Your Items On? =]

  10. It's too late for this time, but you should have waited until the dispute was closed.  Unlikely, but right up till the dispute closes, they buyer can still pay you and expect their item to be sent out - if you don't send it, they buyer can report you for 'non performance' which is something you need to avoid.

As well as that, your final value fee would have been credited and the item would have been eligible for a relist credit - info at point 4 here

    http://pages.ebay.co.uk/help/tp/unpaid-i...

(note that you do have to close the dispute or you WILL lose the refund)

You need to pay the fee they're asking for to clear your account because at this point, your refund isn't guaranteed.  When you do close the dispute, make sure that you choose 'I no longer wish to communicate with or wait for the buyer'.

So, for now, you'll need to pay your outstanding fee, close the dispute as soon as you can and then you'll get your credit .  As to whether to end the listing, that's your call - all you need to decide on is whether you think the orignal buyer will pay you before the dispute is ended.
