Ebay vs Hong Kong vs China?

Would it be cheaper to buy electronics on ebay in comparison to Hong Kong or China? Or will those two countries almost definitely be cheaper..

When I say electronics.. I mean phones, mp3's, etc..

And also (if anyone knows) can you get brand name clothing in Hong Kong or China.. Versace.. Louis V.. etc?

What kind of quantity?  Shipped to where?  Anything will be cheaper to acquire where it is generally made, but if that's not where you live or you don't want large quantities shipped, then buying smaller amounts through a discount sales channel is cheaper.

Designer stuff will almost certainly be counterfeit (fakes).
