Ebay wedding gowns?

Anyone bought gowns from ebay? If the experience was positive will you please suggest the seller?

the reason shipping would outrageous is that they're being shipped from china where factories mimick american designers they do work for

but even w/ the high shippng the dresses are more than a bargain

sorry i don't have experince but i have looked into it [my sis got married and was thinking about it]

but i would totaly consider it

I got this one, a past-season PC Mary's gown, on eBay, from the very same seller as in the link below for $100 less than this listing;

The store, gowns_for_u(Julius Atelier Couture, they're not offering any items on eBay right now but you can still find gowns through their site, http://www.juliusbridal.com/), was a little difficult to deal with communication-wise when they sent me the wrong size, but eBay was great with making sure that I could contact them directly, and through PayPal would've given me my money back if I hadn't gotten my dress. I also got a 108" single-tier drop veil for $37 with shipping, that retailed for over $200. My tiara was $32, and totally unique.

The only thing that I'm not getting on eBay is my bra and panties. I like to try before I buy when it comes to undies! I did get my waist cincher through eBay, though.

I've had much better luck with this store, fabulous_gowns(http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQsassZfabulou... I've gotten several incredible formal gowns both for myself and my bridesmaids). They also have gorgeous wedding gowns and veils, sometimes selling for as little as .99 cents plus shipping. I got a cathedral-length veil(as an emergency veil before I got the other one) for less than $12 including shipping. I even got a great gold wedding band to wear at work for $27;

All told, I'm very pleased with my eBay experience. I'd never shopped on eBay before. I recommended it highly, but; LIMIT YOUR SEARCHES TO NORTH AMERICA ONLY! That way you don't fall in love with a gown that comes with a $150 shipping charge(China).

I bought my wedding dress from ebay.

It cost me $AUD192.99 (totall, including shipping) and is perfect! I am also going to buy my Bridesmaids' dresses from ebay too.

Although I would recommend allowing plenty of time for shipping though, I expected my dress in 30 days and it took more like 60 days, but it fits perfectly and is just perfect in every way! There are many people who sell them on there so just make sure you read through lots of their feedback before bidding.

I bought my wedding dress from ebay.  I dont have a pic tho cuz the photobucket pic was removed.  It is an A line dress with beading on the bust & waist and then going down to the train.  The total cost including shipping was $66.50.  I bought my dress through "gowns_for_u". They have a lot of beautiful dresses and gowns.

My best friend bought her dress on ebay. She had tried it on at David's Bridal, and she just wrote down the style number and size and searched it on ebay. She found the exact dress she wanted, with the hem already shortened to the perfect length, and the bustle buttons already in- for $199. The dress was $499 in the store, with another $200 for alterations. All she needs now is the waist taken in which will cost about $40. She's really happy with the whole experience.

I think you can find a wonderful gown on e-bay, I would get measured at a shop or have some reliable do it for you. Also watch the shipping some the gowns are outrageous to have shipped. Good luck!
