will peopple buy my old clothes off of ebay ? and for around how much?

I do this sometimes.  You probably wont get what you think you should out of it though.

Sell things in "lots."  They seem to sell better.  For example, if you have 4 tank tops, dont list them individually.  Someone isn't going to buy one tank top for 3.00 or so, plus shipping.  But someone may buy 4 tank tops for 5.00-6.00 plus shipping.  To list one tank top at .99 doesnt make it worth your while, so dont bother going that route either.

Your best bet is to gather up your items, and sell like items together.  

If you smoke, say so.  This way there are no surprises when someone gets your item and it has a smoke odor.  If there is a stain, or snag, say so.  You'll risk bad feedback and possibly have to do refunds if your items are not as described.

Also, take good pictures.  The phrase is true "a picture is worth a thousand words."  This especially applies to ebay.  Dont take 3 pics of the same item though, it's a waste of your money.  Only do that if absolutely necessary.

Someone once told me on ebay..."Take a picture like you have no description for the item.  Describe the item like you dont have a picture."
