Die Fohlen director of football has replied to signs of restlessness from two of the side’s players but has denied both incidents.
Borussia Monchengladbach’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Max-c24993 Eberl has had a tough routine after both Mike Hanke and Granit Xhaka have publicly criticised either team members or the management of the German side.
Summer signing Xhaka commented last Saturday about his bust-up with custodian Marc-Andre ter Stegen following the loss against Fenerbahce where Ter Stegen shouted at him while in front of the press. The young prodigy insisted that
not even his parents treat him that way.
The youngster stated that the goalkeeper is of the same age and he was not amused by the event.
Moreover, the former Basel attacker conceded that when he moved to the Bundesliga outfit there were talks of avoiding relegation among his team members. He suggested that he was very shocked by the lack of ambition at the side,
and said that in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Switzerland-c3016 there was always a winning mentality.
"Not even my parents treat me like that. He's my age and I don't let anything like that happen. I thought, 'what the h**l is going on here?’” he mused.
"After I had arrived, my team-mates said: 'We must hope that we don't get relegated.' I thought: 'What's that for an attitude.' I did not know anything like that from Basel. It was all about winning there,” he added.
Eberl clarified that there was nothing wrong in the new player’s words and maintained that he was happy to see the desire to achieve something from the Swiss international. The club official revealed that the player is facing a
tough time adjusting to his new club and a little frustrated with their performance this term.
"Granit is 20 years old and trying to establish himself in a big competition. He's ambitious and maybe mad that things aren't going the way he had planned,” he stated.
Furthermore, the director added that he did not like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mike-Hanke-c25699’s remarks that he was not happy after not being selected in the first-team by manager Lucien Favre. Eberl said the players are not allowed to interact in this manner
with the social media.
