Eclipse 12 Aquarium problems.?

Question

I currently have a eclipse system 12.

I filled up the tank with water and i assume that i assembled it correctly but when i plug the filter , it will not suck any water.

the tank is full and i tried to fill the filter with water.

definatly fill the filter all the way with water all the way

Try filling the filter up all of the way and help it a little, by moving the tube move back and forth so it will suck up the water.

I have a different type of filter but if you do not have the tube all the way down in the filter box it will not suck water.  Usually I have to fill the filter all the way up for it to start pulling water in.
