  1. Have you tried the "eco-logo" website? Launched by the Canadian federal government in 1988, EcoLogo is North America’s oldest environmental standard and certification organization (and the second oldest in the world).

You can check the following link for info specific to furniture:

    http://www.ecologo.org/en/certifiedgreen...

All kinds of information here. Hope that helps...

  2. If I may suggest, as you request products at the following site for (All other):

  3. Another company to look into:

I buy earth friendly cleaners from the first company in the world to obtain Climate Neutral certification and totally offset its C02 emissions, resulting in a net zero impact on the environment. And I don't drive to the store to buy them. They are shipped to my house by UPS - who has put in processes to cut the amount of resources they use to make deliveries.

The company is environmentally friendly & the products are environmentally friendly. It's a win-win!

  4. Whoah! Watch out for a WHOLE BIG BUNCH of Green fraudsters about to be unleashed on Canada and the world from the land of the infamous B.C. 'BILLY http://www.bccondos.ca/forums/viewtopic....

Watch out especially for any discussion of green roofs http://bccondos.ca/forums/viewtopic.php?... and, even more dangerous with our construction standards philosophy of don't ask-don't tell, rooftop gardens

    Don't miss the review here

We are excessively wealthy, wasteful Third World hillbillies, Uncle Jed. No can GIT 'ER DONE - green or otherwise!

  5. Flooring:

Bamboo is supposed to be a renewable source... um ok, they chop down a swath of it, and it grows rapidly.  But they distroy the only habitat of the Panda... hmmm, I think it's not good.

Cork flooring.... remove the outer layers of the cork tree, tree lives & produces more layers of cork.... sounds like the best solution
