Stephan El Shaarawy, the wide attacker at the AC Milan outfit, has gone on to remark on the sudden rise of youngsters in the Lega and conceded that they have had help.
The help that the up and coming striker was referring to was the fact that the Italian youngsters have been given more chances to prove their worth in the Lega due to the financial crunch that has engulfed the world and Europe in particular. The economic
crisis has seen the Rossoneri outfit also become a victim and this was proven in the summer transfer window. The transfer strategy that they adopted was more about selling with little to no emphasis on buying.
The Diavolo outfit bid farewell to more than 13 players during the course of the summer and this has seen many players leaving the club; with key players opting to go for greener pastures. Many of the club loyalists, players who had spent over a decade at
the club, were told to leave the club and this saw legendary players like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-Nesta-c4735 leaving the playing squad.
The departure of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Thiago-Silva-c34903 saw the team lose two leaders, however, the departure of Ibrahimovic paved the way for Stephan El Shaarawy to take the responsibility of the attacking duties at the club and while commenting on the issue,
he went on to remark that the economic crunch has seen the clubs forced to rely on youngsters, who do not cost as expensive. While commenting on the performances of the players, he remarked that they only needed confidence and space to be provided to them.
He also remarked that there was no need of buying foreigners when the domestic players were good enough, and mentioned:
“The economical crisis has helped me. A lot of youngsters have been given a chance to showcase their skills and they’ve taken advantage of that. We just needed some space – it makes no sense to go and buy players abroad when you already have good players
at home.”
The Rossoneri player has gone on to score 14 goals in the current campaign.
