Economics B.A. and MBA in Finance?

Is having an economics B.A. and an MBA in Finance a good idea? what kind of work can i expect and the average salary?

It's a very good idea. You'd probably be working in a corporate finance department, an investment bank. Pay depends on experience and level of responsibility. Ultimately, "very good".

That is pretty general.  

Rather than picking the degree and hoping the career path will follow, Pick your career (or at least a path that excites you) then base your eductaion on your individual interest.

Otherwise, you may discover your degrees offer you no careers of interest.
