How do people make money in the Arctic? And, who are the major employers? If you know the answer, and where you got the answer from, that would be great. Thank you!

This has changed a great deal in the last twenty years as the north pole has become less icebound. Shipping has increased between Canada and Russia. Before global warming set in, Russia's north coast was too icebound to serve as shipping lanes throughout most of the year. Now these ports are very busy. Shipping is the answer to your question, and something important to point out whenever you encounter those idiots who keep denying global warming.
