Economics thesis topic help???

i'm a bs business economics student in the philippines. i can't think of a good topic for my thesis. i want something related to finance. on my course, i'm more of the 'business' student rather than an 'economics' student. please help me.

Why not try and focus on an idea that incorporates the financial world and it's accompanying the economies of the world.

I personally think that an idea that focuses on the use of information and its manipulation rather than the focus of manufacturing would be a wonderful idea.

The financial world is slowly turning upside-down because of this newly emerging era.

Write a Thesis on the merits of a Fixed Currency (ie: Gold) vs. a Fiat Currency (ie: Paper Money) in a 21st century economy.
