Question:

Ecstasy effects....?

So... from reading around, it appears Alcohol is a worse drug than Ecstasy... From what I've read and know... Ecstasy releases all the Serotonin in your brain, causing happy overload, and restlessness, once you are out of serotonin, it takes around 2 weeks to naturally reproduce it. Short term overdose is slim to none because once you are out of serotonin, it does no damage. Long term effects can damage nerves, and worsen your memory.

Alcohol can cause death from drinking too much, liver damage, kill brains cells, and not to mention you can do a lot of stupid things while intoxicated. Drinking and driving is a major cause of death.

Only thing I noticed about driving while on ex was I felt like I drank 10 red bulls and lights were more amusing than normal.

Also how do other common drugs relate? I'm not really interested in trying other stuff, but I don't want to be ignorant... Speed / Heroine / Coke / LSD / Shrooms / Etc

  1. Alcohol Is far worse for your body than MDMA or E.But of course Alcohol is more social excepted.

Speed is More of the upper side of MDMA,Because they are very similar MDMA is Methylendioxmethamphdamine. So you dint get all the lovey feelings that you get when your rolling,So your more just awake.

Heroin-Makes you feel really really Good for about 4 to 6 hours,Like extremely euphoric,Its in the kind of same categories as Marijuana.

Coke- Is a euphoric Stimulant it last about 2 to 4 hours(depends on the purity of the blow)Its kind of like E except your way more up and its a different kind of euphoria.

LSD-Is actually a Very cool drug, when I do it i feel like I'm abut to Roll and then I start to hallucinate and there is no come down and NO Physical dependence

  2. I haven't tried anything harder that Ex but I have tried shrooms and the main thing that i can say is that you have to be in a good place mentally when you do it, I literally freaked out and wouldn't stop crying the second time I did it. you feel a little euphoric but nothing like ex. I loved shrooms the first time I did it, I took more the second time and there were alot of things on my mind when I did it. Its not like ex where you forget all the bad things you still remember bad things on shrooms but you see little things, tracers and depending on how much you take you'll see and hear other things, we were watching south park and they kept saying the F word it was like every other word was cussing. and when I stared crying the tears made my whole arm feel soaked. anyways. even though I freaked out on it I would do it again, i just have to be in a good place mentally. here is a good website you can look up anything you want.

  3. if X was legal everyone would be rolling 24/7. alc is legal because people can't be wasted 24/7 because you have to drink large amounts of alc and it makes you sick as h**l afterwards.

well speed, heroin and cocaine are all ADDICTIVE AS h**l. ecstasy isn't. LSD is not bad for you at all since you need such a small dose of it, and i don't know about shrooms.

  4. No its not.. Ecstasy is can kill you.. you can have seizures from taking x i know a friend that had a seizure cuz he took x

    Short-term Effects of Ecstasy Abuse

While it is not as addictive as heroin or cocaine, ecstasy can cause other adverse effects including nausea, hallucinations, chills, sweating, increases in body temperature, tremors, involuntary teeth clenching, muscle cramping, and blurred vision. Ecstasy users also report after-effects of anxiety, paranoia, and depression.

An ecstasy overdose is characterized by high blood pressure, faintness, panic attacks, and, in more severe cases, loss of consciousness, seizures, and a drastic rise in body temperature. ecstasy overdoses can be fatal, as they may result in heart failure or extreme heat stroke.

eliefs about MDMA are reminiscent of the claims made about LSD in the 1950s and 1960s, which proved to be untrue. According to its proponents, MDMA can make people trust each other and can break down barriers between therapists and patients, lovers, and family members.

Many of the risks users face with MDMA use are similar to those found with the use of amphetamines and cocaine. They are:

Psychological difficulties, including confusion, depression, sleep problems, drug craving, severe anxiety, and paranoia - during and sometimes weeks after taking MDMA (even psychotic episodes have been reported). Physical symptoms such as muscle tension, involuntary teeth clenching, nausea, blurred vision, rapid eye movement, faintness, and chills or sweating. Increases in heart rate and blood pressure, a special risk for people with circulatory or heart disease.

Recent research findings also link MDMA use to long-term damage to those parts of the brain critical to thought and memory. It is thought that the drug causes damage to the neurons that use the chemical serotonin to communicate with other neurons. In monkeys, exposure to MDMA for 4 days caused brain damage that was evident 6 to 7 years later. This study provides further evidence that people who take MDMA may be risking permanent brain damage.
