  3. The answer to your question is simply, " Ecstasy makes nothing better ". It does alter your brain function, stimulating the release of norepinephrine and dopamine, and targeting the Serotonin transporters. There are no benefits or plus sides of this drug other than a miserable life ahead for the substance abusers.

Some recreational users of Ecstasy have argued the following " so called betterment " while drugged :

    - Euphoria

    - Decreased hostility and insecurity

    - Increased feelings of intimacy with others

    - Feelings of empathy towards others

    - Ability to discuss anxiety-provoking topics with markedly-increased ease

    - A strong sense of inner peace and self-acceptance

    - Feelings of insightfulness and mental clarity

    - Intensification of sensory experience, particularly auditory and tactile

    - Increased physical energy

All the above results can be gained normally with a good diet, daily exercising, and socially being active and aware.

Now, lets consider some of the real negativity of using Ecstasy:

    - Decreased appetite

    - Urinary retention

    - Mydriasis (abnormal pupil dilation)

    - Increased heart rate and blood pressure

    - Increased mean body temperature

    - Short-term memory lapses

    - Trisma (lockjaw)

    - Bruxia (involuntary teeth grinding)

    - Nystagmus (rapid, uncontrollable eye movements)

    - Several hours of mental restlessness

    - A period of general malaise

    - Mildly-blurred vision

    - Hyperthermia

    - Dehydration

    - Hyponatremia

    - Liver damage

    - Serotonin syndrome

    - Neurotoxicity

    - Psychiatric and behavioral changes

    - The list goes on...

I hope your misconception have been cleared and in the present and future, You will not only stay away from any street drugs, including Ecstasy, but will also do your best to make others ( especially the youth ) aware of the disadvantages of street drugs.

    Good Luck !
