Well, I have a recurring(almost daily) rash on my upper lip(not the lip, but the area above it) and have had it for almost 4 years now. The area of the rash isn't dry at all, but it is very damaged and unsightly(as with most other facial rashes)
I almost never feel the sensation to itch it during the day, but when I lay in bed it starts tingling a bit after about 5-10min. So I've assumed that the only time that I itch it is at night.
I was born with mild eczema and still have it to this day. I'm 15YO if it matters at all.
I've switched off between hydrocortisone 1% and triamcinolone acetonide 1% cream for the past year and neither have had any effect on the rash itself. I've also tried taking 2 benadryl a day or zyrtec an hour before bed and they don't seem to help much either.
So, I would just like to know if this rash can be treated with any pills/creams, pref prescription, but I'll take OTC if it REALLY works. Or if there or any types of long-term medication that could numb my sensation to itch my upper lip
