Eddie Bauer Travel System Question?

I am considering purchasing an Eddie Bauer travel system. I have not seen extra bases for the infant seat readily available like Graco makes.

I am concerned that I will not be able to have an extra base if I purchase this. I did not receive a return email from the company regarding this question. Can someone who owns a travel system tell me more or how they handled this? Thanks!

Oh boy, you really opened a can of worms here!

I bought the Eddie Bauer travel system because it was so pretty and comfortable looking. It looked softer than the more plastic-ish ones. It was more expensive but worth it to a me, a first time mom.

Boy was I wrong. I couldn't find another base ANYWHERE. I checked every store on the planet as well as eBay and Craig's List. The seat of the car seat is so pilly (full of pills, pilled? You get what I mean). Also, the first time I put the car seat pad in the wash the seam came undone in two places and is now unraveling all over.

Anyway, there's my vent. It's a beautiful system, but I dont' recommend buying it unless you're planning on putting it on display somewhere :)

I was thinking of buying the Eddie Bauer but I couldn't find an extra base so I bought the Graco instead.
